TERMS and CONDITIONS of USE of the SITE and the SERVICES
By visiting and using this website: www.medikey.it (Site), you will be
required to comply with the terms and conditions of use set out below
(hereinafter, "Terms and Conditions"). If you do not agree with these Terms
and Conditions, please do not use this Site.
The Terms and Conditions expressly refer to the Information on the
processing of personal data contained on the Site, in addition to the other
provisions or disclaimers published and updated in specific Web pages of the
Site, or directly communicated to the User.
EDRA SpA reserves the right, at its discretion, at any time and without
notice, to modify, add or delete parts of these Terms and Conditions. In
this regard, the User is invited to periodically check this Web page; the
use of this Site following any changes to the Terms and Conditions implies
the acceptance of the same by the User.
Services
By registering on the website www.medikey.it, the User can access a series
of telematic, information and advertising promotion services for the
medical, pharmaceutical and health professions in general.
The Services are therefore intended for Users belonging to the following
professional categories: doctors, dentists, pharmacists, veterinarians,
health professionals, students and professors of medical-scientific
subjects, journalists.
The Services are provided upon registration of the User on the Site, with
the attribution of a pair of unique keys (username and password) chosen by
the User and connected to the account. The use of username and password is
personal and cannot be shared with others. The User undertakes to keep the
unique personal access keys under his own responsibility, using the utmost
confidentiality and diligence; also undertakes to communicate in writing to
EDRA SpA, to one of the contacts indicated below, of any theft or loss of
the access keys.
The certification is carried out by the Medikey® software owned by EDRA SpA,
protected, like the Contents of the Services, by the law on copyright.
EDRA SpA reserves the right to request a fee for all or some specific
services, without prejudice to the User's right of withdrawal to be
exercised within 30 days of the request, by sending a communication to one
of the EDRA SpA contacts indicated below.
The User's personal information is strictly processed according to the
methods and purposes indicated in the Information on the processing of
personal data, expressly referred to here.
The User of the Site undertakes to enter truthful and updated personal data
and is responsible for the data and information entered on the Site through
their account.
Copyright and limitations of use
The entire content of this Site, including the layout, design, images,
programs, text and other information (hereinafter, the "Content") is owned
by EDRA SpA with registered office in Milan, via Spadolini n. 7, VAT number
08056040960; tel. + 39 0249790530; contacts@medikey.it., or other companies
of the LSWR Group, or licensing companies and is protected by copyright and
all applicable intellectual property laws.
It is not allowed to reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, store,
transmit, use to produce derivative content, sell or license, in whole or in
part, the Content, nor the products or services obtained in any way through
the Site, except this is expressly provided for by applicable law, governed
by the Terms and Conditions, or granted under license, or
subscription.
It is allowed to download and print the Content of the Site for personal and
non-commercial purposes, in compliance with all provisions relating to
copyright and intellectual property rights. However, systematic withdrawals
of the Site Content cannot be carried out to create or compile, directly or
indirectly, information archives, databases or lists without the prior
written consent of EDRA S.p.A
Automatic download systems and programs that can i) extract contents
automatically and continuously or index them without the authorization of
EDRA SpA may not be used; ii) collect personal information from the Site in
order to send unauthorized and unsolicited material; iii) produce
malfunctions of the Site. In this regard, it is absolutely not permitted to
use programs to neutralize any protections of the Site.
Any clarifications in relation to the methods of use of the Site and any
requests for authorization for the use of the contents must be directed to

It is strictly prohibited for the User to send or transmit to or from this
Site any material (including software or content) that is unlawful, that may
violate the rights of third parties, whether it is threatening, defamatory,
libelous, obscene, profane, pornographic, violent or vulgar, or contains
errors, viruses or other harmful components, or is in any case punishable by
law. EDRA SpA may at any time exercise its editorial control over the
Content of the Site and over what is forwarded or distributed through its
tools and / or services.

All other domains or registered trademarks present on the Site belong to
their respective owners.

This Site, exclusively for the User's convenience, may include links to
other sites or other resources that are not managed by S.p.A.
The terms and conditions for the use of the service and the privacy policies
applicable to these sites may be different from those applicable to this
Site. For these reasons, it is advisable to consult them.

responsible for any loss or damage deriving from the use of this

error-free; - that any defects are corrected; - that the Site, or the
servers that make it available, are free from viruses or other harmful
elements; - the results that could be obtained from the use of the Content
or other resources present on the Site; - the accuracy, completeness,
reliability, availability, adequacy, quality and legitimacy of the contents,
products or services provided, or accessible from this Site: in particular,
EDRA S.p.A. does not guarantee the real-time updating of statistical data
relating to the community of Users reported by the Site.
This site and all its contents, products and services - whether included in
it or accessible from it - are provided in the state of fact and law in
which they are found, without guarantees and without their being able to

suppliers of the contents, or the licensors will in no case be liable for
any loss or damage caused, even in part, by fault or by events beyond the
control of providing, compiling, interpreting, reporting or send information
through the Site.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EDRA S.p.A -or other companies of
the LSWR Group or licensing companies will in no case be responsible for
decisions or actions taken by the User based on such information. EDRA S.p.A
will not be liable for any damage (including derivative, incidental and
indirect ones) even if it is aware of this eventuality.
EDRA S.p.A assumes no responsibility for third party products or services
offered or advertised through its services and systems.
Site functionality
EDRA S.p.A tends to maintain the functionality of the Site and its
availability for 24 (twenty-four) hours a day and 7 (seven) days a week, as
well as saving information.
EDRA S.p.A allows registered Users to access the Site and provide Services
for an indefinite period. Registration allows one access at a time through a
single link. The connection presupposes the correct configuration of the
computer and the installation of a connection software by the User. Costs
and charges for the connection are borne by the User.
However, due to technical problems, unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure, or due to maintenance, the
availability of the Site may be limited and the information lost.
EDRA S.p.A cannot in any way be held responsible for damage or injury caused by any material or software, including but
not limited to interruption, defect or delay in operation or transmission, insufficient performance, error, omission,
loss of data, computer virus or line malfunction.
Indemnification
The User expressly agrees to indemnify and hold EDRA S.p.A harmless from the other companies of the LSWR Group, as well as the licensors from any liability, loss, damage, cost (including legal fees) deriving from the use of the Site, or its contents.
Express
termination The provision of the Services is terminated automatically, upon communication, including electronic, by EDRA S.p.A to the User, when:
- the User loses his status as a registered professional;
- the User violates this regulation
Applicable law
The Terms and Conditions of this Site are governed and interpreted by substantive Italian law, without recourse to the rules of private international law.
